Madhav national park in shivpuri madhya pradesh
National tiger conservation authority (NTCA) approves madhav national park as the newest tiger reserve of madhya pradesh. It is great tourist destiny of shivpuri. Many people are visit here every year.
Madhav national park situated in northern part of madhya pradesh in shivpuri district ( upper vidhyan hill). Shivpuri is also known of summer capital of sindhia dynasty. This dynasty rule on gwalior madhya pradesh in present time.
Parks was hunting ground of mughal emperors and maharaja of gwalior. This park got the status of national park in 1958. Many animal are found here. For example- antelopess ( nilgai, chinkara), deer ( chital, sambhar and barking deer), leopard, wolf, jackal, fox, wild dog, wild pig etc. And found northern tropical dry deciduous mixed forest as well as dry thorn forest.
Two are present here - sakhya sagar and madhav sagar. Which are provide cold vive for tourist. If you want to more joy with these lakes. Then i will say , you must go in rainny season. This park provides most beautiful time to spend with nature. Madikhera dam is also situated in the north western park of the park.
